NOTES
The essential regalia of a Plains warrior is recreated for this doll, including a beaded pipe bag and a warrior shield. The doll’s honorary warrior shirt contains the primary design elements such as a beaded triangle neck and the customary decorative strips that run down the front and arms. Beads embellish the doll’s leggings in the conventional Plains stepped triangles, and the moccasins have intricate stripes that refer to a trail or path.
