NOTES
This dark green jade boulder is carved in the round with a rocky wooded mountain rising from a turbulent sea. Various images are represented in the landscape including a pavilion with crane, boys playing, working animals, wise men, and other figures and animals. The gilt bronze fitted base has a design of rocks and waves with hammered and engraved work.
